In-Kind Event Sponsorship (Venue & Park Hire)

This sponsorship tier provides a one-off in-kind support or ongoing support up to 12 months for organisers delivering events or activities at Emu Park Cultural Hall, Yeppoon Town Hall, or Council-managed parks and reserves within Livingstone Shire.

This sponsorship tier is for in-kind support only. No cash funding is available under this category.
Applicants seeking financial (cash) contributions should refer to the other tiers of the Event Sponsorship Program.

Purpose

The In-Kind sponsorship supports the planning and delivery of community events and initiatives that encourage community connection and contribute to the liveability of Livingstone Shire.

The value of in-kind support is calculated in accordance with Council’s current Fees and Charges Schedule, based on the applicable venue or site hire rate.

Please note: Booking administration fees may be applied for in conjunction with an In-kind application. The assessment panel will determine the total value of sponsorship approved.

If the administration fee is not approved as part of the application assessment, the fee will remain payable and is not covered by the sponsorship. Applicants should refer to Council’s Fees and Charges Schedule for further information.

To ensure a fair and timely assessment, applicants must provide complete, accurate, and truthful information in response to all application questions. This enables applications to be assessed against Council’s eligibility criteria.

Tier 1 In-kind sponsorships do not require acquittals.

The majority of services and/or activities benefit Livingstone Shire residents and contribute to the overall liveability of the Shire

The initiative aligns with the goals and strategies of Council’s Community Plan

There are no outstanding payments owed to Council

Individuals

Individuals must meet all of the following criteria:
